This Privacy Policy explains what information StayOS collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We act as a processor for the guest data our customers store, and as a controller for the account data of the businesses that use StayOS.
Information we collect
Account information you provide (name, email, workspace and property details). Guest information that customers enter to operate their property (such as guest names, contact details, and booking history). Usage and device information collected automatically to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use information
To provide and improve the service, authenticate users, process payments, send transactional messages, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us run StayOS (such as hosting, email delivery, and payment processing) under contracts that require them to protect it, or where required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@stayos.app. Residents of Québec may exercise the rights granted under Law 25.
Retention
We keep personal information for as long as an account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period.
